Role description:

FareHarbor, a Booking.com Company, is looking for a full time, on-site backend engineer with focus on security to join our infrastructure team in Amsterdam. We’re a quickly growing company with a robust product that tens of thousands of people rely on to run their businesses every day. Keeping our systems secure is critical and we’re looking for talented engineers to join us

Responsibilities: 

• Implement security-related features in our applications and infrastructure.
• Review code on new features to identify potential security concerns.
• Audit all aspects of our applications and infrastructure to identify potential weaknesses.
• Develop tools and guidelines to help foster a security-first mindset throughout the company.

Requirements: 

• Have experience writing code for web applications, python is preferable
• Have deep technical knowledge of web application security and network security.
• Have a strong understanding of Linux systems, ideally Ubuntu.
• Have experience with cloud-based infrastructure providers, ideally Amazon.
• Understand security best practices and have experience implementing them.
